Do you need help?

As a new mom, just three months into my journey of motherhood, it has been a mix of joy and stress. Having my mom around has certainly changed the outlook of things; her presence provides some much-needed help.
One night, my little one refused to sleep for reasons I couldn't discern. I decided to stay with him in the living room until he drifted off. As I was in the living room, I heard my mom's voice. Excitement filled me as I hurried into her room and asked if my baby could stay with her until he fell asleep. She agreed, having had some time to rest earlier. The relief and joy were palpable as I went into my room to sleep.
As I was leaving my mom's room, I felt a prompting from the Holy Spirit. He asked if I felt the same way about Him—whether I recognized Him as someone I could run to, a helper in my life. This question made me reflect on how I had been navigating life seemingly alone, forgetting about the practical help the Holy Spirit could provide. It was a moment of reawakening.
I realized that I could experience that same joy in every aspect of my life by actively recognizing and engaging with the Holy Spirit. Beyond speaking in tongues, the Holy Spirit is eager to assist us in our daily lives, help us carry our visions, fulfil our dreams and do the little things of life. All it takes is for us to ask for His help.
So, the question is, how long will you sideline the Holy Spirit? He is ready and willing to be your helper in all aspects of life.
Will you allow Him help you in 2024?
